Professional Excellence

Dani’s treatment approach consists of manual therapy with progressive exercise prescriptions both locally and globally, looking at movement statically and building into dynamic movement. Dani’s experience is a wide range of movement disciplines. She has many years of clinical Pilates experience used to help build foundations and proper timing and sequencing of movement. Dani is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) and works to build on the foundations with strength and power integrated with dynamic training.

Dani Langford

 Dani has worked as a physiotherapist for 12 years having graduated from Curtin University in 2008 in Perth, Australia.

As a former elite athlete who represented Canada in Basketball at the junior national level at the FISU games in Izmir, Turkey. She has worked with athletes in many capacities: as a team leader/captain, coach, strength and conditioning coach, physiotherapist and mother.

Dani believes in empowering the patient with education and knowledge during their rehabilitation process by having high levels of accountability having each patient be a part of the process to ensure we, the therapist and patient, work synergistically for an efficient and optimal outcome.

Working clinically with people one on one to achieve their goals. I enjoy working with motivated people no matter their stage to help them get moving, keep moving and create optimization of how they move. An athlete is anyone who wants to get or keep their body moving in order to stay healthy. I have worked with a variety of athletes from varied sports. ​

FAQs

There is no receptionist to book your appointment. Booking an appointment can in be done 2 ways:

Step 1- Sign up on system:

Book online using the Jane app. Click the book and appointment button and it will take you to the app.When you book online for the first time, you will be asked to “sign up” with a username and password (Don’t’ forget your password you need it to book each appointment. You will be prompted to fill out an Intake Form which consists of your patient profile, past medical history, consents.

Step 2 – Click the Book Appointment button, an easy 3 click process

Sign in, select appointment type, select a date/time.

If you are not comfortable using the on-line process… no problem. Call 778-241-4976 or email dani.physiotherapy@gmail.com.  If you get the answering machine. Leave a message and I will get back to you within 24 hours to book an appointment. 

For cancelling appointments, please do not reply to the automatic reminders that the scheduling system emails out.

Prior to 24 hours 

  • If cancelling your appointment, you can log onto the scheduling system with your username and password and cancel under your “booked appointments”
  • If you haven’t been booking appointments on the online system, you will need to phone to cancel.

Within 24 hours 

  • If cancelling your appointment, you will need to call 778-241-4976. You may be charged a full treatment fee for the appointment. However, the cancellation fee may be waived if the appointment spot is able to be filled with another client in time.

Each patient will be given a new mask to be worn during the session.

Each of the appointments are spaced apart by a cleaning break in between each session.

Each patient will be asked to wash their hands at the start of the session.

Each client will be asked to answer a COVID 19 – questionnaire .

Forms that are not completed prior to appointment session will need to be completed during the appointment time. So please ensure you complete your intake and waiver forms prior to the session so we don’t lose session time filling out the forms.
